for schools & community

Build the recycling habit

Young people are our best shot at fixing how Malaysia handles waste. The Trash Right program brings hands-on recycling education straight to your school or community — and makes tracking impact easy.

the Trash Right program

Teaching the next generation why waste matters

Trash Right is our structured recycling education program designed for primary and secondary schools, PTAs, resident associations and community groups. We bring the equipment, the educators and the data — you bring the students.

Real weigh-and-report data

Every collection is logged so students see the real impact of what they've diverted from landfill.

Cashless reward system

Recyclables are weighed and converted to rewards — giving students a direct, tangible reason to keep going.

Flexible for any school size

From a single classroom session to a whole-term recycling drive — we scope the program around your needs.

Covers KL & Selangor, Perak, Kedah

We operate from Beranang, Rawang, Chemor and Alor Setar — so we're close enough to show up.

what's included

Everything you need to get started

Pick one activity or run them all — each piece of the program is designed to work together and build a lasting habit.

Recycling workshops

Structured sessions that cover what can be recycled, why it matters and how the circular economy works — designed to spark real curiosity, not just tick a box.

Trash audits

We sort through a sample of your school's waste together and put numbers to it. Students see exactly how much value is being thrown away — then we show them what to do about it.

Community recycling drives

Pop-up collection events for students and families to bring recyclables — paper, plastic, metal, e-waste — in one go. We handle the sorting, weighing and reporting.

Smart bins on campus

Our solar-powered smart recycle bins can be placed on campus for ongoing collection between events. No manual emptying headaches — we schedule regular pickups.

Impact reports

After every session or drive, you get a simple report showing total weight collected, material breakdown and CO2 equivalent avoided. Great for school newsletters and ESG records.

Door-to-door pickups

Students who collect recyclables at home can schedule a free doorstep pickup through the Trash4Cash system — keeping the habit alive well beyond the school gate.

how it works

Three steps from enquiry to impact

Get in touch

Drop us a message or give us a call. Tell us roughly how many students you're working with and what you'd like to achieve — we'll take it from there.

We set up the program

We visit the site, agree on activities and dates, and set up whatever equipment is needed — smart bins, banners, weighing gear. Zero admin burden on your teachers.

Students recycle and track impact

The program runs, recyclables are collected and weighed, and everyone gets to see real numbers. We send you an impact report and help you celebrate the result.

beyond the classroom

Good recycling habits spread fast

When students learn to recycle at school, they bring it home. We've seen recycling rates climb in residential areas around schools that have run the Trash Right program — because habits are contagious when they're fun.

Resident associations welcome

We run recycling drives for taman and apartment communities — same program, scaled for families.

Local council partnerships

We work with councils like MP Sepang to run community-level recycling events that complement school programs.

Mascot and materials provided

We bring our mascot to events — students love it, and it makes recycling something they actually want to talk about.
